It could have been done differently while also fulfilling the same function of buffing its upper body which I agree is a good thing. That was the point. If you want alternatives, how about giving it buffer arms? Retaining the shoulder spikes but changing their size or coloring? A little bit of both? All I said was I didn't like that particular design.
