So what's a good website besides mediafire that would let the rom hacks hang out for the longest while?

How are your rom hacks coming along? Which is your favorite, story wise or gameplay wise?

Also should I bother leaving the original roms in the package next time?

Which GB hacks? For Red version I've played brown, purple, and team rocket, and wisteria. I thought they were god awful. The only GB one I liked was Crystal Dark Future I think, but even that was kinda ugly.

I found them on romhustler.com

they're all childish rom hacks that weren't even playtested (sometimes your rival has a glitched and undefeatable team)

some of them are just sprite swaps, like the pink version where EVERYBODY is gender bendered... in the outerworld anyways

and i cant really give a quick rundown, i only have the complete storyline in text

if id give a quick rundown it would sound boring (get gym badges, beat league, catch legendaries)

just assume there are cool events themed to each route/place

I'd recommended snakewood for the lulz, has a strong beginning with a zombie apocalypse setting before deteriorating into a badly scripted schizophrenic mess

super rising thunder and the ruby destiny series are like Pokemon mystery dungeon games in terms of party, setting and story

Ive been watching my friend play Liquid Crystal, I myself got to Goldenrod but am too lazy to continue (He brings it to lectures on his psp everyday). That hack is insane, may be the best Pokemon game I have ever seen, although its the only hack Ive ever seen/played. He is under kanto right now fighting a new team and shit, it could only get better if you got to go to Hoen or something.

Visual Boy Advance for GBA and GB games.
DeSmuME JIT for DS games.

Sometimes you need to patch the original rom first before you can play the rom hack.
Most people use LIPS for that.
