However, its best set is physical, doesn't get SD until late in the game, hasn't even got a special boosting move, has rather low speed, average bulk. Competitively, it can Special Attack (has to have Hidden Power), Physical Attack, and Sub Salac (lel). Done. Not better than Emboar, not worse. Average plain Water type.

>>11730679This. Emboar needed the defenses to act as a good bulky sweeper. Unfortunately, it hasn't, and can't afford to use and abuse recoil moves or stat lowering moves such as Close Combat because of this. And this, even with its very good HP.
