Pokemon waifu dating sim. Not to be confused with the other one in development here >>11715677.
Long story short looking to make a VN for date pokemon not pokegirls. Don't like it, not my or anyone else in the threads problem.
Lets start with some brain storming and the basic specs. How many routes, which mons, weather we want them on-model or modified Tits or no tits.

My basic idea for the premiss is a town or region where many pokemon have sought out the lure of a cushy human style life with some even getting jobs and wearing their own oddly fashioned clothes. A possibility (maybe more a joke) for the tits and asses is they got fat from eating too much human food and not battling.

I think this may be a bit of a pain in that we'd need 2 Drawings for every picture.Plus it changes possibilities with dialogue. Cant have a mon being jealous because you were checking out a passing hottie knowing she will never have that when you can switch it on and off.

Not to be a downer, but I just don't see this project getting off the ground. Unlike Gen /vp/, which is already bad, it doesn't have anybody who cares enough to lead it. The material that would need to be discussed for it to be developed is very borderline allowed here, so most of it would have to be pastebinned for discussion here like the fapfics are. Art would also have to be shown off in /b/ threads or hosted elsewhere for people to view and discuss opinions about here. The very characters themselves which are the most important part will never be agreed upon because everyone has a character they like more and there's tons of options. You can't please everyone even if you go for the mainstream appeal characters of each area of appeal. We had a thread about it before and we ended up with like twelve characters of various genders that couldn't be narrowed down any further, and people still wanted to add characters. People don't understand how much work goes into a single character's route. We also don't really have anyone on the programming side who would make this work nicely. The project would turn into a mess if we tried to force it, due to people sabotaging polls out of rage of their character not being included or just trolls in general terrorizing every thread, and face it there's plenty of people on /vp/ who don't want to see these threads at all. Then you also have the added terror of someone like Slowtaku writing a story about the project and tons of the worst scumbag furrys on the internet flocking here ruining the board. The project itself was a neat idea, but this place just isn't suited for it at all.

The male is reserved and usually serious, but is still easily approachable and has a friendly demeanor. Female I'd see as energetic and spunky, treats everyone well but has difficulty forming lasting bonds with anyone. Lets her emotions get the better of her more often than not, leading to a lot of misinterpretation and miscommunication, but she'd always be willing to apologize, as long as you didn't do something genuinely horrible or offensive (or stupid).

Well,no matter what, you'll eventually have to pick who is in and who is out. I propose a fair method of "name tags in the hat".. You'd also need someone who can draw you a good few scenes and such.. I can't support a project that is essentially lobbying for a furry fanbase on this board. In the past couple months we've finally got the one that's already here under control. We don't need shit getting crazy again. This site will never fully accept that base. It is amazing they are tolerated at all considering Moot and the other mods' view of it back when the site began. Furthermore, this board is worksafe. This was the decision of the people who frequented it back when the porn was rampant and out of control. Every time I see people try to change this I groan because either you weren't here to see how bad it was or you honestly want to destroy this discussion board for a porn image dump, which either way makes me disregard you as cancer. Projects like this just don't really belong because of that alone. I can't blame people for trying, but it is literally a disaster waiting to happen. The fact that most people who'd want to be involved with this end up just fapping to the idea of it and moving on is proof of that.

That's basically what it comes down to, distance. I have no problem with this thread finding other /vp/ go-ers who would be interested with helping with this and taking them elsewhere to do the actual discussion and work. Hell, that'd actually be nice for those of us not interested in the project because it would occupy much of that group away from us for a nice long period of time and encourage them to do something productive. It shouldn't become a common thread here though. Tops, you should show up occasionally in the draw and write threads looking for people who might want to help and by occasionally I mean maybe once a week or month so it doesn't get annoying. That's how this project could work, but it still takes people with actual initiative to get it off the ground. Making a VN is a ton of work. I'd actually suggest you start by trying to make a short flash game prototype instead. If you can pull that off it'd be a good resource to pull people into a real big project that could actually finish one day.

I'll be shifting development elsewhere once I have sorted a place for it due to the legal troubles its going to attract. Threads here will be for general interest gathering and letting people know its alive. Also I like the idea of the short flash proof of concept you mentioned.

The problem with fanbases is that the most fucked up and annoying members of it tend to be the loudest and most persistent.

Example- try to ignore anyone who suggests anything too fetish oriented, as that alienates everyone who would be turned off by that sort of thing.

Artists finding probably wont be a problem as I'll be trawling a fair few places with this shit, the issue is going to be finding the people with the stones to see this through and more importantly not explode and take a chunk of the project with them when they do. That and its the writers and sound guys that I am concerned about. Another thing that's going to be a pain is I am in Australia so timezones mean emails.
