Be honest.

Would you rather have another game following the same formula plus more Pokemon or another game using less Pokemon but focusing more heavily on story and setting.

Because honestly they seem to be scraping the barrel with Pokemon designs and I really liked the way Colosseum managed to do so much without really adding to the established Pokedex. It's like, we have enough Pokemon now, give us a game focusing on the lore, the history, the world and the characters.

I'd be happy to play through Pokemon Colosseum again if they changed they updated the pokemon avaliable. It felt good knowing you only had a limited supply of pokemon to catch and you were never sure when the next shadow encounter would be

Yeah, and Colosseum came out right after RS which had 130+ new Pokémon in it. So your argument is invalid. Whether you like it or not, the first game in a generation will always have new Pokémon in it. That's how this franchise works. There's nothing stopping them from making your ideal game apart from the main series, but instead of it? Yeah, that's not going to happen. Ever.

You seem to be pretty mad about my innocent little scenario there friend. You also seem to have missed the point horribly. It doesn't have to be part of the main franchise, even a retard could figure out that would never happen but there is nothing stopping a spin off franchise from being made in this vein the same way Mystery Dungeon was tossed out there, but without being a horrible repetitive dungeon crawler. The Question was which would you rather have, not ZOMG NINTENDO SHOULD KILL POKMON AND MAKE MORE STORY BASED GAMES.

And yes the new designs are hideous, that is a fact whether you like it or not.

Colosseum was an amazing game. Great story, great soundtrack, great characters (Wes and Miror B.). It's main problems were that the double battles were slow and there was a limited number of pokemon you could capture.

Aswell as the new gen 6 game on the 3DS, I'd love to see a game like Colosseum be made for the WiiU.
