Just got Black 2. My go to favorites are getting stale. I was looking for some unexpectedly good, lesser used mons. Surprise bro thread?

Then Black 2 is the game for you, my friend. Espeon, Azumarill and Magnezone surprised me. Magby and Growlithe are available early game too, plus you can always go for some of the Gen V mon you haven't tried yet.

For me personally, Magnemite was just a Pokemon I never paid much attention to, and I didn't know how good Magnezone's stats were.

I caught a Growlithe and it turned out to be a continual disappointment.

Sucked because I had never played Black 1 and had only briefly played Gen 3 after not playing since Gen 1 and its remakes came out

Growlithe only gets good if you can get it to learn flamethrower and crunch before evolving it. If you don't have the patience for that, you can just grab a magby or darumaka.
