>>11732355I've always wondered - literally always, from the very first time I played a pokemon game - why anyone even considers whether or not a starter is weak to this or that gym beyond the bare amount of thinking necessary to decide to go catch a Mankey.
And with that, I REALLY don't understand how anyone could be so blitheringly stupid as to believe that a pokemon's overall quality can be defined by how its type matches up against one or another gym.
Just one of those mysteries I guess....
