Mew is ancient, Mewtwo is a clone.

Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres are weather gods and the major seasons, spit into life by the elements or whatever.

Likewise, Kyogre was formed by the pressures of the deep, Groudon was formed in the heart of a volcano, and rayquaza was formed by the elements in the sky, so says bumblepedophile.

The legendary dogs were reborn by ho-oh, so that makes sense, sure, why not.

But most of the others have very ambiguous origins. Where do you think they came from?

The biggest question to me is Regigas. It's normal type, so no elemental spurt, and I can't even find a trace of an origin, not even like 'born from dreams' or 'from the future' or any of that crap. Ideas?
