It makes me want both a Pokémon Snap sequel AND a Pokémon game with some more maturity. Why doesn't Nintendo go for it? I really don't understand: Snap is still a very well-liked and popular game, more than a decade after its release, and surely by now there must be an adult market for Pokémon? If anything, we're proof. It doesn't have to be a main game, a spin-off is fine, maybe something rated T for the WiiU.
There is so much untapped potential within the Pokémon franchise. I understand if GameFreak doesn't dwell outside the mainline games, but surely Nintendo could outsource to third parties for something that could appeal to an older demograph? Or at least just give us a Snap sequel?
