-Some island were you can only find the starters in the tall grass
-40 new evolutions for old pokemon along with 160 new pokemon
-All pokemon can be caught between the 2 games
-No routes with less than 4 pokemon
-No Basculin only while surfing
-Old Rod and Good rod are back again
-Multiple routes dont have the same share of pokemon
