This gorgeous creature here is the only wild one I've ever found. Also got the pity ones - red Gyarados, Legendary Beasts, Haxorus in the nature preserve, reasonably close to getting that Dratini.
But... I also do the Distrobro threads, and have about three boxes full of (hacked) shinies. Some I intend to use, others are going to sit there forever, others I have multiples of and will give away. I love Metagross, but after getting seven consecutive shinies in one shot, they become very ordinary... It's nice having shinies of some of my absolute favourites, and there's some I still want to get, hacked or not (Absol, Chikorita, Hoppip, Leafeon, Milotic, Politoed, Ponyta, Sableye, Shinx, and Tropius), but... yeah, does cheapen it a bit.
That said, gorgeous golden Altaria is still my favourite, and is first in my Specials box.
