This looks like a shit load of fun but what is the best way to get this on a table so people can actually read the rules and use markers to move across the board?

Actually, I've made a usable version of this. If I remember correctly, I blew it up in paint to be 4x4; e.g. each corner was a page. To get it to last, I placed it on poster board and laminated it with duct tape. My friends and I have been using it for half a year, and its still going strong. it's tons of fun to play

since landing on pikachu will just net you a bulbasaur w/o a weakness

they should just make pikachu strong vs everybody
its not like you take that many drinks and the advantage relatively spekaing isnt even twice as much

It's a boardgame, not smogon. People are mainly playing to have fun, and all that happens if you lose an outcome is you take more drinks, it doesn't even effect chance of winning.
