Unfortunately you're gonna have to stick with it, OP. Had the same problems with SoulSilver but got through it.

And don't expect anyone on here to give useful advice, people get butthurt when mentioning emulators and roms. Evidence in the responses of your thread.

Not op, but tried to play HG/SS with a flashcart (R4i SDHC) and failed miserably. Ended up buying the games, and not regreting it one bit.
