It was obviously not a good day for Celadon that was for sure, although the rocket ship was able to launch without incident, that still left an army of hostile pokemon and who knows what untold reserves left of Weil's army... already even more pokemon were being launched from the armor platforms.

The Airlock was apparently next to a currently sealed up landing bay, most likely from when it was first being built... if looked to be their only way in for now. Luckily it seemed that there were no outside defenses.

The shots and blasts were able to suppress and KO some of the attacker's advance as well as damage one of the platforms, the pokemon responded as they did though pouring a series of attacks through the holes in the wall to try and swamp the enemy the narrow choke point too hard to push through.

The attacks smacked into a couple of the tanks, mostly shaking them around or causing some minor damage such as, "Viewing screen is blocked, can't fire!"

The mostly series of attacks left grazing shots on the attackers however as they crawled through the breach the tank shot managed to connect with one of them, bringing the already wounded pokemon down instantly.

The almost KOed Sacrafty finally decided to stop huddling against the wall, climbing it as it attempted to follow the wall around the city.

The Toxic pokemon kept attacking tossing out toxic ooze all over the battlefield in an attempt to keep them busy and distracted as they attacked....

The enemy apparently was soon distracted by the intruding ghosts, the metagross tank coming down hard against the ghosts with a blast of energy while the supporting electric types hit back with more energy.

Even further back a pair of robotic drones kept up their firepower around the door letting the pokemon do most of the dirty work. With the sound of an alarm more reinforcements were poured in as well. Seems they were in for a real fight here.

The ghosts took several glancing shots from the attacks, some appearing to get hit only to have faded at the last second to tease the opponent.

Their orders were changed to handle the enemies in the back as well as those closer up.

The majority of the attacks seemed to brush by, the thunderbolts mostly taking out the first two drones manning the doorway, but the magnet pokemon took the time out to fire off a barrage of magnets into them.

The Metagross seemed to react even more differently suddenly pounding the ground as everyone suddenly felt extremely heavy.

The grunts staggered under the sudden artificial weight as their ghosts let off expressions of surprise as the magnets that were about to miss crashed into them. Luckily the ability was a double edged sword that stopped the opponent from moving just as much.

the shot managed to take out another Skuntank, the scrafty barely hanging in as well... From above the Mummy pokemon seemed to lock onto the porygon-z a strange ray flashing from them. The rest tried to scatter, the platforms suddenly deploying something from above them.

Samus had enough strength to fight it, though she was slowed down. Still, she switched tactics to a Fire Blast at the enemy Metagross. The attacks managed to hit wipe out the initial electric types but the Metagross was another story suddenly ramming forwards into the gathered spirits. Behind it another two drones came in from the inner door, deploying themselves behind a large storage crate just inside before laying down some suppressive fire.

The attacks were enough to bring down the rest of the initial force, the inner doors opening outwards unveiling another 2 drones and a second Metagross, which charged forwards into the mass of ghosts while the two drones fired from behind the conviently placed crate just inside the door.

Mike's team took both the hits from the drones and Metagross, suffering moderate damage from each of them. Those attacks hurt quite a bit, but that wasn't enough to keep them down! The attacks were enough to take down a little more but by the end three of the pokemon were through the breach already tossing attacks as well even as the blasts hit...
The ghosts reared back and resumed guarding the platforms which continued to charge up.

Previously, the three hovercraft approached Poketopia. One had moved underwater, the other two attacking the defensive position.

The turrets surrounding the larger one on the platform locked onto the missiles as they flew towards it, shooting them down early. The huge turret, locked on after previous targeting, fired a barrage of missiles back at the two enemy vessels still above water.

The barrage of missiles slammed into the two ships, sending one diving down barely hanging over the water now as well as disabilng two of it's 6 missile batteries... the second one faired little better the thing itself crashing into the ocean with a splash.
The first fired again this time with it's four remaining missile batteries.

The missiles made it through the defensive fire this time, causing damage to some of the large turret's own launchers. Receiving a communication, it cycled weapons to some strange mechanism.

It turned and fired a series of portals onto the side of a tall building near the port, a pair of allied hovercraft and a mechanical Gyarados launching out of the openings and over the water. The hovercraft fired their weapons at the last surfaced enemy craft before plummeting into the water, soon to engage the others. The Gyarados on the other hand immediately went for the first underwater one, a blast of unstable energy launched from its mouth and through the water.

The next door opened out into a large hanger area, the gigantic room stretched out three stories tall a series of raised platforms and balconies lining the entire side of the central chamber, of the chamber itself, it was a twin landing pad layout with a large massive airlock door leading outwards, the pad itself was just about the right size of a ship like the one they came in on, and was currently empty, the second pad however contained what looked like an abandoned rocket of some kind, apparently in some state of repair.

The room itself was anything but empty though, a series of steel types and visored robotic drones were hard at work inside, welding, repairing, and with the news of intrusion, setting up defensive positions.

The doors itself opened up to the lowest most level's leftmost part of the hanger, the door opposite them on the second floor heading straight while several side doors lined the bottom floor.

Getting up meant getting to a series of ramps on the opposite side of the hanger with only a series of support beams for cover.

Luckily for them it seemed that the defenses were half manned only a series of around 8 drones and some Electrodes were in any state to attack, 4 of them doing so by ducking behind a beam and firing off a series of blasts in their direction randomly.

Mike had to take cover from the incoming attacks, as he had no reasonable way of fighting back. Paula had stepped in to take one of the Electroshots that was aimed at her trainer, the Gardevoir countering with a pulse of Psychic energy. Samus had turned her attention to the other drone, the Blaziken throwing a Fire Blast at it. Neither of them was particularly tired, though they'd had little time to rest from the previous fight. They'd have to break at some point, or they'd wear themselves out before they even got to their target.

The missiles and attacks mostly failed to graze through the ship aside from damaging a battery and causing it to list heavily to one side at a 30 degree angle, only speeding up in response.
From below a series of SLCMs popped up the second hover craft appearing behind it.
The third took some damage as well before attempting to surface right into one of the attacking Water pokemon attempting to ram it with it's bulk.

Of the first damaged one the top of it seemed to open up a series of shells firing off in a large arc over the water.

The suppressing fire did its job keeping some of the grunts from being able to send out their pokemon. Six of them managed to get out Bisharp to do battle with the new enemies.

The four firing drones were quickly taken out from the strike, the bisharp however were forced back from more suppressing fire from above, the electrodes faired poorly against the drill run, flying backwards and slamming into the far walls of the station before self destructing harmlessly away from anything. The concealed drones stepped out now, firing a group of blaster shots at them while they began to retreat for the ramp.

The wildy scattered shots did little more than leave a path of destruction along the corner of the bottom floor, the robots falling back in an ordered retreat, with the exception of one which seemed to drop it's cannon and draw what looked like a burning dagger instead, attempting to bash into the charging Drill pokemon.

From above more troops took positions along the upper balconies their guns making scattered shots down even as several pokemon began entering the room.

As if to add insult to injury an alarm began blaring throughout the room.
