I see what people were going for with that, but last time I checked nipples aren't located directly under your neck on top of your collarbone, so it doesn't bother me at all. What bothers me much more is that black speck next to the camera and Pikachu's strangely round shaped head in this design.

Hounded my management and 3rd shift electronics associate over them all night. System said 2, not put away anywhere. Both wanted to tell me they weren't 'in the store'. Checked the invoice logs, nothing.

Day shift comes in, talk to electronic associate, she remembers seeing them, her and the department manager go in the back for 2 minutes, come back with them. Snag mine at Target price.

My store sucks when it comes to game releases and such, I've missed out on both Fire Emblem and Monster Hunter because they calim they won't be getting games like that until a major title is coming out, but they do get it and in a small quantity, on their stated release day. What's even more odd, no Luigi's Mansion OR Pokemon Mysterious Dungeons, at all.

The Walmart I went to did not even know it was supposed to be released today. The did not have them in the display case, and the sales associate had to go to the back to get mine. I got them to price match target since I grabbed a copy of their sales paper when I went there first to see if they were sold out, which they were.

I would have gotten one yesterday at a different Walmart since the sales associate there did not know the street date either till she went back to see if they had any in the back. She saw that they were not for sale till the 24th. I got one though so all is good!

i dont know, the sale on the items were announced awhile ago along with the reveal of the 3ds, so when I checked my email this morning it sounded like Target assumed that everyone read the 1 website the info was leaked on and just have the 3. Its like the special xboxs or the special ps3, we will get them in, just in rare amounts. And as far as rain checks go, it will say on the ad and on the sale sign if you cant.

Okay, target opens at 8am and I got there right at 8 and they were already sold out. The guy then checked all the other targets and they were also sold out. Toys r us was also sold out. Fuck this gay earth how is every last store that sells this going to be sold out almost immediately

Seems to me that most superstores (Target, Walmart, etc.) got 3. Similarly, TRU seems to have also gotten 3 each.
And places like gamestop only received the two.

So - someone do some math, get the number of walmarts, TRU, and targets together multiply that number by 3, then figure total number of gamestops and multiply by two.

Rough estimate of how many there are circulating right now.

I keep reading about people who went to get one today, but since they were all sold out just picked up a regular 3DS XL instead. The first Walmart I went to this morning had about fifteen of these systems, if not more and no Pikachu 3DS XLs shipped to them at all. I can see Nintendo releasing a second batch, even more limited to once again spark a day of people settling for the other systems sitting on the shelf. Elaborate ruse theory.
