Stegosaurus wasn't physically tanky. The plates on its back were for intimidation and communication, not to physically stop attacks. It did have its thagomizer and could pivot itself quickly thanks to its long hind legs and short front legs, which makes it quite strong offensively.

One of the ankylosaurs would be better for a defensive Fossil, as long as it wasn't Rock/some other Type giving it a double weakness or two.

Also the signature move is pretty overpowered. It either needs to lose the effect or have lower base power, otherwise it would go straight to ubers as the ultimate physical wallbreaker.

How is 110 in both offensive stats and 540 BST "huge stats"? Without sunlight it's mediocre at best, and 85 defenses isn't exactly tank material.
