Stab is part of a damage calculator. Stealth rock does fixed damage and is not influenced by the damage formula.

It does a fixed amount of damage based on type. It doesn't take into account attack or defence. Its percentile based

Yes, and that rock type damage is fixed. It will ALWAYS deal 50% to charizard. It won't do 49%, or 51%, it'll always do 50%.

Because tsunamis get their power and size from distance traveled. Middle ocean earthquake = huge wave hitting japan, above-average tides hitting a nearby island. Earthquake = Destructive epicenter that fades outward. Pokemon are close to the epicenter, since they're not very far apart in the first place.

Grass is one of the weakest types in terms of offense so I don't think it's OP.

As for the Water and Ground type,The opponents would switch out there pokemon as soon as your pokemon with leech seed is out there and send out their Fire or Bug type.

Pretty much, so if you can somehow land one on a water type and not a bug type,then that's good.

But I would rather have a neutral damage so I wouldn't have to worry about that.

Still missing the point entirely. My point being that SR activates (i.e., deals damage) with a non-rock type on the field. BUT was used by a Rock type. Hypothetically, would it then get STAB?
