Team Building Thread /vp/

In this thread we ask for advice building our teams and help others build their own.

My team so far:
Scrafty
Froslass
Crobat
Scizor*
Kingdra*
-Empty Slot-

/vp/ who should fill the empty slot on my team? Also I am unsure if I should keep Scizor and Kingdra, any good suggestions for substitutes for those two? Preferably the same type.

Unless you bred that froslass with taunt and spikes I'd drop it for a cryognal, probably drop scizor for lilligant and as for your spare slot get some sort of iron wall, snorlax, slaking, maybe even umbreon.

My SoulSilver team, may eventually transfer it to B2 but there is no good training left in B2 to be done

Considering it's soul silver I've naturally kept my starter but I'll drop him eventually, I need some sort of grass type for my last slot but I'm unsure what.

I would like to have a team based around a Special Sweeper Nidoking set, but i have no idea how to go about it, as i really am no good at team building, i'm kinda new to the competitive battling scene so any help is appreciated.

I've got used to EV training, and I understand what to perfectly fine now, its just coming up with actual teams that im not sure about.

Sometimes he can whipe out the whole enemy team one after the other, with a little help from my Bronzong who sets up Reflect and Light Screen first, also if the enemy is lacking water types, I like using my Politoed first to set up rain with drizzle for a 100% hit chance with his thunder.

I was thinking about doing a ground type run on W2 challenge mode. This is the team I planned out so far. I thought of swapping Gliscor for Flygon (for Fly) but I'm leaning more toward Gliscor because I've never used one before.

Any pointers one could possibly offer, or am I good to go?

I'll consider it. Had a Wigglytuff in my FR Nlocke. Thing was an absolute monster. 160 health at level 34.

It includes all Pokemon and bumps up the difficulty considerably. Granted, it's far from easy to catch 'em all. Nuzlocke is fucking torture. I use DesMume or whatever it's called.

Why? Better off using Sucker Punch to take out faster Ghosts or Psychics like Gengar or Alakazam, it's usually a OHKO. Also good for taking out a weakened Latios or Reniculus in TR. Shadow Ball doesn't offer much in the way of coverage, and half the stuff you'd want to use it on will out speed and OHKO Nidoking anyway.

Best set, in my opinion, is
>Earth Power
>Ice Beam
>Thunderbolt (or Thunder if you're frequently seeing Rain)
>Fire Blast / Sucker Punch / Focus Blast

Even with Focus Blast something like Blissey or Snorlax could still easily wall Nidoking, so keep that in mind.
