I can see why, though, but still, it's viable in every tier. Well, maybe not in Udders, but I run Miltank in OU, RU and NU and it's great in all of them.

Normal type are in general good designs but they never relly stand. Out of these Zangoose is the only one I used in-game (Boufallant appears too damn late)

Without rest, it gets walled and stalled easily.

With rest and sleep talk, it only runs one coverage move.

In the end it can't really do much. I can see it moving down another tier with the generation shift. It's as useful as Dusclops in UU.
Actually, even Dusclops is better, since it can cripple shit for the rest of the match.

I think Miltank, Ditto, Clefable, Porygon 2, Cinccino and Ambipom are better than Snorlax. Well, maybe Ambipom isn't so good outside of VGC, but still.

So? They provide good coverage and have two separate 10% chances to either flinch or burn/freeze/paralyze. For Pokemon who don't get anything else, like Luxray, the Fangs are very good to use.

Those moves, however, deal a great amount of damage that makes the risk worth it sometimes.

The fangs not only deal pitiful damage, but can also miss and screw you up.

The super-moves can also miss and screw you up. That's part of the game. And if a Pokemon has nothing else to use, who fucking cares about the power, the Fangs still hit shit super-effectively and can flinch or apply the elemental status. Luxray appreciates Ice Fang and Fire Fang if it has no choice but to face a Ground, Grass, or Dragon Pokemon.
