As the name implies, the aim of the game is to survive as long as you can. Understand -- you WILL fail. But you will learn, and you will create new strategies. And, eventually, perhaps you may ultimately succeed and become Champion of the Elite Four.
The story:
The age of the Pokemon Center is over. They are abandoned vestiges of a comfortable past. PokeMarts are all but empty, long since ravaged and forgotten.
You are a Pokemon trainer. You want to be "the very best." Despite the loss of the technologies above, you embark on a journey just to find out how far you can really go. Your choices of accompanying Pokemon are crucial; your ability to strategize is paramount.
You are, truly, a Pokemon Trainer in the toughest of times.
