Thinking of playing Crystal, but really cannot decide on a starter.

Pros and cons of each:

Typhlosion:
Pros: Strong fire type
Useful throughout game
Feels 'canon' to me

Cons: Lolmovepool
Used it last playthrough

Feraligatr:
Pros: Badass, powerful
Great movepool generally
Cons: No STAB coming from better attack
Rival ends up with Meganium, this just seems wrong
Lots of other great Water types
Meganium:
Pros: Bulky as fuck
Haven't really used it
Solid Grass type
Cons: Little diversity
Too 'cute' for my tastes
Limited movepool

Also want a Flyer who isn't SKarmory or massively outclassed (Pidgeot/Fearow). Suggestions?
