The missiles and attacks mostly failed to graze through the ship aside from damaging a battery and causing it to list heavily to one side at a 30 degree angle, only speeding up in response.
From below a series of SLCMs popped up the second hover craft appearing behind it.
The third took some damage as well before attempting to surface right into one of the attacking Water pokemon attempting to ram it with it's bulk.

Of the first damaged one the top of it seemed to open up a series of shells firing off in a large arc over the water.

The wildy scattered shots did little more than leave a path of destruction along the corner of the bottom floor, the robots falling back in an ordered retreat, with the exception of one which seemed to drop it's cannon and draw what looked like a burning dagger instead, attempting to bash into the charging Drill pokemon.

From above more troops took positions along the upper balconies their guns making scattered shots down even as several pokemon began entering the room.

As if to add insult to injury an alarm began blaring throughout the room.

The squad pulled back a bit more as their pokemon were peppered with shots from above. A few took the initiative and sent out Breloom and quickly ordering attacks.

The Bisharp continued to pursue the retreating enemies with attack of their own.

Mike's team was significantly weakened by the incoming attacks, though they weren't beaten just yet. Samus rushed into the melee to give the robots a low-flying Sky Uppercut, while Paula aimed a Thunderbolt at the retreating 'bots. They needed a breakthrough fast, and a way to shut that alarm off, or they were in trouble.

The attacked Hovercraft evaded the enemy missiles, unloading on the first enemy craft, its partner attacking the second. Below, the Mechados evaded its attacker and began coiling around it as it attempted its ram. Back on land, the portal devices were blown apart, causing the ones on the building to close. The missiles aimed at them blew holes in the side of the structure instead. The long-range defense system platform began descending back into the parking lot, with a metal gate closing above it.

The Drill run missed the fleeing robots, instead hitting a support being causing the balcony above to crack hard tossing one of the drones over the side to smash into the floor, the Bisharp were able to close the distance anyway, cutting down the few fleeing drones left while the seed bombs suppressed a couple of the ones on the upper floors taking out another one even as they took cover behind the guard rails. The thunder bolt and the Sky Uppercut finished off whatever was left on the bottom floor, still leaving the upper two floors a danger zone, the remaining forces trying to keep them trapped down there in a stalling attempt.

The squad signaled their steel types into the path of most of the attacks, knowing they would be more resilient to them.

More attacks were signaled from the Breloom as the Bisharp stood nearby the others, buffing themselves.

The missiles finally did the damage to the first Hovercraft the thing crashing down and exploding in a rush... a large hulking pair of figures hovering out, two golem robots as well as what looked like a dozen water types behind them, all which began swimming, or floating, towards shore, the two robots firing on the hovercraft to cover the landing force.

The second one took the missile attack a little better, a sudden glow appearing over it as it dashed forwards already smoking from the rear.

The third one was bashed by the Mecha Dragon a series of small things blasting out of the side of it before exploding around it, battering it and knocking it back hard.

The shells kept flying high over already tumblign down to land behind the hover crafts.

The charge took the fire horse up the ramp at high speed, however missing any of the firing enemies at the same time, but still catching the second floor off guard as they suddenly turned their attention to the horse the Magnetons firing another group of Magnet Bombs at it while the drones focused their fire on the bisharp below.
On the third floor the mounted gun was caught off guard by the sudden uppercut smashing the entire platform and causing the two drones to drop back and draw their own blades before rushing forwards.

The Shadow claw lashed into one of the drones ripping the thing apart easily before it exploded, a bit of energy seming to enter the pokemon as well as the other one looked on, before diving towards it almost in anger.

The second floor barely avoided the flame wheel that went through the whole right side of the balcony before hitting the wall, but the distraction was enough to allow the bisharp to rush into melee range cutting down several of the drones before they could return fire, some of the close ones either drawing their blades ofa stun baton and attempting to batter them back.

The third floor was pounded on by the other bombs, the damage joining in the blaziken's to wipe out much of the force up there, leaving only a handful of drones and two magnetons left.

The 3rd floor drone was finally silenced leaving the third landing cleared, the second floor group was soon put under heavy suppressiong fire from the grunts, the Aura sphere smashing into one of the magnetons, sending the thing smashing into another two drones, the combined fire power leaving only a single magneton and a drone which, upon seeing their comrades explode around them, suddenly fell back for the door way firing the whole way. The rest of the room was now mostly emptied the combined shots wiping out almost all obvious resistance, whatever left either disabled or hiding in the large cavernous loading bay.

Samus limped down to the ground floor, barely on her feet from all the damage she'd sustained. She'd need a pick me up before she could continue. This would involve removing the suit... Mike had a Full Restore ready for the Blaziken's injuries. Checking the medical supplies, the trainer figured he still had plenty... for now. [9 Full Restores left.]

The attacks were enough to take down a little more but by the end three of the pokemon were through the breach already tossing attacks as well even as the blasts hit...
The ghosts reared back and resumed guarding the platforms which continued to charge up.

The Blast slammed into the last two Quagshires, Koing them as well as severely wounding one of the trash pokemon, which in response, swallowed it's stored contents to heal it self up. another fired a gunkshot towards the soldiers at the buildings, the final one attempting to body slam the nearest building.

The surviving Skuntank finally reached another building, opening fire upon it with a Flamethrower in an attempt to flush people out. To the rest the machines seemed to near their final charge while the ghosts guarded them carefully.
