I never used Swampert in RSE, and since I used all BW starters I went ahead and got myself a Mudkip for BW2 run

He was pretty solid.

Mudkip was my first starter, ever. I named him Joey. I made it to the elite four, and I couldn't beat them, so I started a new game and chose Treecko. The second I saved over the first file I wanted to cry because of how much I missed Joey already.

In Ruby/Sapphire Blaziken is the only way I can take down Norman, which is why I only nuzlocke Emerald since Swampert is the best Gen 3 starter.

It is one of my favourite Pokemon of all time, constantly competing with Flygon for the title of favourite Pokemon from generation 3. Completely unmatched in RSE in-game, sweet design (although it took some time to get used to dat horrible sprite) and awesome battle performance all around (too bad gen V happened). What's not to like?
