Well, atleast the battle in mind was, as said, on Platinum where I had a lot of struggles with her damn Froslass. My team was shitty (a Torterra, a Staraptor, a Sneasel, a Honchkrow which I had traded over for HM slave purposes and two bibarels), and I had close to no ways of beating her as of then. My Sneasel didn't even have a Dark type move for whatever reason, and it would obviously be slowly withered down by the contious Shadow Balls and Blizzards. But I didn't care. I sent out my Sneasel for the simple purpose of stalling said Froslass completely out of offensives moves (by switching between Sneasel and Staraptor), and since this was a nuzlocke, I had no other options. Torterra would just flat out die, after all. And the bibarels would only be suicide bait if all went wrong. But it didn't. I continued to stall the frost spirit to the very point that it started to spam Double Teams like a maniac. It couldn't attack me. Perfect timing for my Staraptor to switch in and take all glory with two swift Aerial Aces, yeah? No, that ice queen threw of Psychic and also landed a crit. Because that thing was faster, and I had wasted my last potion, I was in a pickle. I ended up sacrificing one of my Bibarels to get a free switch into Torterra, which took the Psychic not too well and finished it off with an EQ.
Quite intense.
