but that is actually a great idea for a fighting type pokemon

more hands means more fists more fists equal more punches

a fighting type that needs something other than its own body to fight well doesn't seem like it should be a fighting type at all

The real reason I don't like those pillars is that they just LOOK so damn unwieldy. Like no matter what fanart wants to try and make me believe, I can't see this thing swinging those slabs of pillar around without it looking awkward as hell. They look too thick for it to hold like actual clubs, and it would be weird if it held them like in OP image when using.
