I want that fucker to evolve into a Bigger Tortoise with its eyes open and have it become a living fossil Pokemon like Relicanth with either a Fire/Rock Typing or a Fire/Ground Typing.

It could have a Pokedex entry saying that it' evolved form have been found inside dormant volcanoes and when enraged a group of them can actually restart it or something. Or that it can live for thousands of year.

I love this glorious bastard. I use him in every RSE run.

Since they're my two favorite Pokémon, as long as the evolutions would stay close to their original forms, I don't see how I'd dislike them.

If Mawile got an evo it'd be pretty cool, even if it just got an attack an HP buff. It hits hard enough in NU to be a decent late game sweeper.

They won't. Any time a gen introduces an evolution to an old Pokémon, they are always look very different and have a different theme.
If Mawile were to evolve, it likely would no longer be a Futakuchi-onna, the same for whatever the hell Sableye is.

For some, but plenty keep the theme and/or a similar appearance. I don't mean close as in "Sableye but with longer limbs and a few more gems", just adding to or expanding on the existing themes.
