Okay, still though. It would make it exponentially easier to breed perfect IV mons with a little patience, since the stats can only go up.
Once you've got the mon with perfect IVs it's a snap to use everstone ditto for nature.
Time consuming? Yes. But probably no more so than killing fucking hundreds of litwicks to max out the SpAtk stat. IVs are still relevant to the game that way, but far less random and frustrating for people trying to breed perfect mons.
