I've had this idea of a while now, Pokemon based on star death.

Like the Hitmons, the Pokemon can evolve into any of the three, depending on which stat is highest.

I'd also like more simple designs. I don't want to start a whole war about the design direction, but I think we're making a mistake if I'm beginning to think that some pokemon more resemble megaman villains than pokemon.
Also, is it really necessary for us to have to go back and make everything evolve? Why can't we leave good enough alone?

Surely there's a lot of unused animal inspirations for new pokémon, and I like most of suggestions here. But what I really would like about new pokémon would be new type combinations. I mean, 5 gens and no Dragon/Poison, for example? There's a lot of cool possible combinations to explore.

I think just a sewer rat that is dark/poison would be cool. And it could have a signature move called shadow fang that has 70 power is a dark type move and has a 10% chance to either poison or flinch.
Simple but effective in my opinion.
