Like I said, they're the only thing that the entire franchise has ever produced that has a story that's worth a damn, minus Rescue Team. That ending was atrocious, in the same league as the Mass Effect 3 ending

If there is one bad thing about the game is that it is more story than game play. There's not much variety in what you can do.

Same for previous games. For dungeons crawlers, the PMD series was very outdated in its mechanics, interface and such. Not to mention the fake-difficulty dungeons in the post game. Excellent story telling saved this series.
