Meganium is the worst starter. Not only of Gen 2 but of all time.

I do have autism, but I chose Cyndaquil, haha.

Only because it was fire type though, I never liked its design, and I wasn't much of fan of its evolutions either, they were the same as Cyndaquil just bigger.

I recently started a new game on SS after I bought the cart from my brother. I don't really care for any of the Gentoo starters so I went with Chikorita because I hadn't used one since Colosseum, where it was shit. I gave him the throwaway name Gyro after what I was having for dinner.
GOD DAMN this fucking thing is useful. He's still in my party.

I always liked Feraligatr, but Typhosion is for queers. Eruption is the only redeeming factor.
