>>11823987Yeah I really liked weather teams in 4th gen back when it was more of a gimmick, and you had to actually set up the weather, but would be greatly rewarded if you managed to keep it up. Now it's just a completely normal strategy, and is a mainstay for most teams.
I've also noticed you don't see nearly as many weather teams as you used to in NU now. Weather has always been very very strong in the lower tiers, but I just don't see it that often anymore. Maybe everyone who is playing the lower tiers are doing it to stay away from the weather, and those who want to make weather teams just decide "well I might as well throw in a Politoed/Ninetails and make this team OU.".
