Currently replaying this as well as playing Gates to Infinity for the first time. My favorite is still Explorers of Sky, though I really like the whole series.

I like it a lot, personally, so do most of my friends who got it.

Honestly my biggest complaint is slow text speed and no way to quickly advance it.

I'm about halfway I think, because there are six question mark boxes in the main menu and I have the first three revealed (If that made any sense).

It's actually pretty good, I didn't expect much from it. I thought I would be more bothered by the lack of Pokemon but I don't notice it much. It's good, I like it, but compared to the other games it's sub-par. I miss some of the lost features from the previous games but it's not game-breaking.

I know the lack of pokemon (more specifically, the huge lack of starter options) will be the only reason I don't pick up this game, hopefully the next PMD will have more pokemon and a better storyline. Here's hoping.

I think the blue one is my favourite of the series
currently the only legend i have not gotten is celebi, bitch is hard to get.

I started playing Explorers of Sky and was disappointed to find out they removed the friend areas, i liked them because i liked the idea of a place where the pokemon hang out in their habits

I liked the friend areas as well, but for me the side stories really made up for it. I like Sky because there's a whole lot of content in it. At least you don't have to spend the money on the areas anymore.

I've played the rescue games and the explorers games. I've only tried the demo of the newest one and I was kind of neutral about it.
Going from the rescue games to the explorers games I disliked that the power of the pokemon got nerfed. I remember in blue rescue team hitting 6000+ damage on Mewtwo with Muddy Water and in explorers of sky hitting just over 999 with lucario using aura sphere on an aron.
I did like how you don't have to have hms to go to some dungeons, the removal of friend areas, and bigger bag space.

I'm nearly done main game, and I've actually really enjoyed it thus far. Gorgeous graphics and music/soundfonts to boot.

I still love Sky in first place. Infinity is on par or above blue/red, except you can't take multiple requests at once and the text speed.

Ignore that, I read a game after Infinite.

Anyway, everyone post their teams. PC is Snivy, partner is Axew.

And that fucking final dungeon in main story. I went from literally not having died once to having a death count of 24 before passing the fourth floor.

Not final dungeon, but the Eastern Spire. I thought it was final dungeon.

And it's the only dungeon I had trouble with.

The game was actually ridiculously easy, aside from that.

Also, I never have changed the text speed in any game I've played, so the slow text speed really doesn't bother me. Besides, holding B makes it slightly less grueling.

Yeah, I agree. Though it does make you have to choose right then and there, and that's nice, considering I would never have enough room for more jobs on my list. I just take a few jobs, do them, and then look back once I was done with them all. I think it's more about getting to the next day rather than getting a good reward in this game.
