>>11830633Actually its just because its the ones I have are shiny, which made me start using them, then I learned I liked them. To be honest bird wise I was always a fearow fan, but in white 2 I decided to SR for a shiny braviary (first time doing it). Got him in 35 soft resets and couldnt believe my luck.
Feraligatr took a bit longer, and I was actually hoping to get a chikorita, never used totodile before and im not a big fan of water types (except krabby).
My favourites aren't really that pokemon in general, its the actual ten I have in game.
As for quirkyness, thats exactly why Makuhita is in there, I prefer Lucario for fighting, but makuhita is such a strange lil spud I had to use him. Not a fan of Hariyama though.
But then does it really matter why someone chooses a favourite? Not having a go, you can think whatever you want it makes no difference to me, but do you expect someone to have 10 favourites without choosing one they like the design of?
