>>11836017>why would GF create a new type and why do you think its going to happen. It's times like this I wish /vp/ had an archive so I could dig up everytime I've had to answer this question. I'm just going to give you the bare necessities here, you're gonna have to do the rest of the thinking yourself:
>why would GF create a new type1) They will, eventually create a new type whether it is this generation or not, reason being is that there is going to come a time where they literally run out of type combinations and people get seriously bored.
2) It makes very, very good business sense. Interest in every aspect of the franchise will shoot up if a new type is introduced. It makes the new games very attractive and it makes old retconned Pokemon suddenly very marketable.
3) As it stands, the game is unbalanced in favor of dragon type.
4) There are peculiarities in normal type that would make 'fairy' a very viable choice for a new type. In fact, if you look at the merchandise and character goods available, it almost seems inevitable. They've always kept the 'fairy' types as pseudo-mascots.
>why do you think its going to happen.Ninfia's hype (If you can't understand Japanese, please don't try and tell me it's the same as Zekrom's - it isn't, at all.)
Imagery we've seen so far of X/Y really seems to support a 'fairy' type. (Running out of text here..)
