So I know about Scramble challenges, Nuzlocke Challenges, and Mystery Egg runs. Are there any other themed runs?

Pic unrelated, just a bro with Storm Drain, my favorite ability.

By scramble, do you mean randomizer? If not, then I suggest doing a randomized run on Emerald. Just did one and had a good time. Just my ass shredded in Victory road, but was fun nonetheless.

But the problem is the encounters are never truly random. For example, I kept running into Arboks and Haunters on route 1. I redownloaded ROMs and the actual problem, changed nearly every setting, etc. Always, each route has only a handful of more common pokemon than others.

I want COMPLETELY RANDOM, and I cannot find it.
