Guaranteed for ugliest
I think it's based on a mix between a smiling bipedal monkey and a mop. And the color selection hasn't helped him, at all.
This is one of the pokémon I thought was fake when I first seen.
And I'm not weird with the monkeys, the pan's look all cute, Simisage is awesome and Simisear is kinda dumb but OK, but this one is total shit.

Disagreeing with:
Togekiss - He's a little fluffy wing creature. I want to cuddle him out of mid air.
Spearow - His design is bland but not particularly ugly.
Primeape - Same comments as Spearow.
Nidoking - I think Nidoking looks cool.
Nidoqueen - I also like this design. Very decently smooth.
Snorlax - Pretty adorable. Giant sleepy fat cat looking thing. Maybe not the most interesting, but still not openly jarring.

This. Gabite is ugly as fuck too, Gible is ok-ish, but Gabite/chomp are the only Pokemon I've ever considered to be overdesigned shit.

I love Druddigon, it's a shame that there is no reason to use it in -game at all other than being a placeholder until Axew evolve (And even then Druddigon is only found late in the game)

I want a pre-evo and a Dragon/Rock evo for him in Gen 6

Well, there's a lot of Pokemon I don't find appealing and consider overdesigned, but at least with them I can sort of understand what others might see in them. From the first time I saw Garchomp, I never understood how anyone on the planet can even like that thing, it's a mess from top to bottom.
And I don't really care much about legendaries, but I think it's more appropriate for them to be more... ellaborate than regular mons, so they get a pass in my book.

Diff anon, but I think all the monkey evolutions that were introduced were ugly. I can also agree that it just kind of looks like a walking mop. It's not a matter of liking 'edgy' or 'badass'.
