>GliiscorOutspeeds Lucario.
>Gyarados Jolly Lucario can't cleanly KO it at +0. Adamant Lucario potentially gets outsped.
>Revenge with a Scarfer? Extremespeed. The first 3 common scarfers that can take a +2 ExtremeSpeed and Bullet Punch, sorted by usage stats:
Jirachi (#2), Keldeo (#11), Garchomp (#15).
Point is, Lucario has extremely safe checks. They will always win the matchup regardless of its coverage moves, how many turns it was already on the field, prior damage or other external factors. Meanwhile the closest thing to a safe check Blaziken has is CB Azumarill which doesn't even work in the sun. It only has a single check. One. Check, not counter. Just let that sink in for a second.
But that isn't even the main difference between Blaziken and [any other strong sweeper]. The main difference is Speed Boost. Lucario has to rely on a 80 BP non-STAB move to attack faster Pokemon, meanwhile Blaziken happily fires off 120 BP STAB moves with potential weather boosts. The difference in power is insane. Speed Boost also means that every time you mispredict against Blaziken it gets stronger. You can scout Lucario's moves, it doesn't automatically get harder to deal with every turn. Blaziken however does.
