Good (or horrible) ideas for gen VI thread.

Try to come up with different things then usual (party leading pokemon following you for example).

I propose a Similar Type Attack Bonus(SITAB for short, so as not to be confused with STAB_. For example, Bug is pretty similar to Grass and Poison, so when a pure Bug-type uses a Grass or Poison moves, it gets a 25% SITAB. Same goes the other way around, Grass or Poison pokemon get SITAB when using Bug moves.

Stacks with STAB, just to make sure the entire metagame is compeltely wrecked

An item that nullifies the holder's ability to make Slaking, Regigigas and possible Archeops viable.

A pokemon's nature, in addition to the 10% stat changes, now gives it one of 25 in-game battle effects similar to an ability.

Hardy — Same effect as Focus Band, this pokemon has a chance of surviving with 1HP (stacks with focus sash/band, sturdy)
Lonely — In doubles/triples, this pokemon's AoE moves (discharge, earthquake, etc) cannot harm its teammates, and hit both opponents for full damage.
Brave — This pokemon's stats cannot be lowered by intimidate, leer, etc. (fear-inducing moves or abilities); instead they are raised.
Adamant — If this pokemon misses, if it uses the same attack next turn it will always hit

Relaxed — HP-restoring moves and items grant 50% more HP to this pokemon
Impish — When this pokemon is switched out, it damages its opponent (auto volt switch/u turn, normal-type phys damage)
Lax — This pokemon never takes recoil damage from moves
Timid — SE damage dealt by this pokemon is 50% greater
Hasty — This pokemon will always move first on its first turn out
Serious — Confusion cannot afflict this pokemon; instead its atk and spatk will rise
Jolly— STAB is 2x for this pokemon instead of 1.5x
Naive — Attraction cannot afflict this pokemon; instead its def and spdef will rise
Modest — If broken/consumed/flung, this pokemon's held item is returned to it upon switching out. It cannot be stolen or knocked away.

Also the chance to attack when paralyzed is already 75%

Just change the neutral natures to increase HP at the cost of whatever stat and add five more natures that decrease HP to boost whatever

Okay, then a paralyzed pokemon can always move with bold (though its speed is still reduced).

Also, Bonus Points 2:
The ability "natural" is only given to certain pokemon who are already weak in the metagame.

The general idea of having natures do more is cool, and I think the battle effects being totally latent would be a good way to keep casual players from having to memorize too much, while also allowing for a lot more complexity in the metagame.

Pokemon found in the wild can rarely be found knowing egg moves. Like a 1% chance a random Aron will know Head Smash and so forth.

That may be, but the metagames are elitist enough as they are. I think you'll agree when I say that the battles become more fun on more diversity, and making every team have an answer to these Pokémon in case the opponent has them, would seem to me like a bad thing to do.

The less HP a Pokemon has, the weaker its attacks are.

Imagine the implications! Some attacks could be made immune to that (explosion?) or even reverse that (anything with "rage" or "fury" in its name). Some abilities, as well, could be changed so that they ignore that (oblivious, anger point). This would also make recovery moves on offensive pokemon a lot more useful, which would open the door for recovery blocking abilities, etc etc...........

- No more moves only obtainable trough breeding.
- No more evolutions only obtainable trough trading.
- Once you teach a pokemon a HM it can always use outside of battle even when the move has been deleted from the moveset.

People might call me a casual for this but god I find the above things annoying.

This. Bug and Psychic (maybe Grass?) moves do additional damage during day time, Ghost and Dark moves during night time (maybe Poison too?). Moonlight and Morning sun recover HP based on these factors instead of Sunny Day. There can be new moves like "High Noon" and "Deep Night" which summon day/night respectively, and abilities like "Daylight" and "Midnight" that work similar to Drought and Drizzle. For some reason, I imagine the Hoot Hoot line getting a new ability called "Set time" or something, which is similar to Air Lock and Cloud Nine, preventing the effects of both. There could also be abilities like "Nocturnal" that boosts speed in night conditions and then something similar for daytime, I just can't think of a good name. Some moves will have altered effects, like Dark Void having 100% accuracy in Nightly conditions.

What do you guys think?
