For some reason it was, at least to me, the best experience I had while playing pokémon since my first ones.
I think it has the best plot, best enemy team, best gyms, amazing pokémon and regional dex and great postgame.
BW2 is awesome for items, pokémon, tutors, grinding, whatever, but BW ingame wise is far superior. BW2's story felt empty and dumb after BW.

The Pokedex was a castrated mess. I didn't like the aesthetic changes, even if the colors and increased resolution were nice. The music was pretty bad. I find Gen 1's old, buggy fighting system interesting, and I've already played Gen 3 to death.
