It would be shit because when you see something switch in looking like Zoroark or w/e new illusion poke, you'd know for sure that that pokemon is an illusion ability poke. Because illusion pokemon don't normally look like illusion pokemon when switched in.

Removing team preview would literally be the worst thing they could do. They already fucked up most of the game with the massive power creep in Gen 5 that even when you do know whats coming you can still get mindlessly swept.

I know how you feel. Team preview is one reason I stopped even trying competitive play, though I wasn't very good to begin with. As you say, it takes away that fun element of surprise. Sure, it'll let you know about a possible sweep, but it also hinders any minor gimmicks you might have wanted to try.

Team preview is so useless.
Zoroarks ability is to trick you but it's not doing it's job if you see it coming and team preview just ruins the actual theme of his ability. I get that it's unfair but that's exactly the point

Every time a Pokemon is sent out, you have to consider it MAY be a Zoroark. Every. Single. Time.

The only ways to tell if it's a Zoroark
>Pokemon's ability (like Intimidate and Mold Breaker) don't trigger upon switching in
>Pokemon is affected by Spikes when it shouldn't
>Pokemon takes 12,5% damage by Stealth Rock instead of less or more

No entry hazards? No ability indicator? It's guessing game.

I understand that it balances the game because it would legitimately be unfair for you to have to worry about whether Zoroark was being used or not because it could petentionally lead to your loss, but if it is the illusion fox I just find it a little useless when you can pretty much see it coming.
