I want to play some Pokemans in 3D, are the stadium/colliseum/XD games any good? Are they even playable if you no longer have working copies of the games from those gens?

I had Stadium 1 back in the day and it was awful, was wondering if the sequels were better.

With the Stadium series. If you don't have your own pokemon, then good luck having to deal with the shitty rentals.

The game is balanced to the Rentals. If you bring in your own Pokemon, the hardest difficulty is the only one that will stand a chance against you.

XD is better. Battle Revolution for the Wii is 8/10, but will be 10/10 when they finish the B/W mod.

The Stadium games, and Pokemon Battle Revolution are crap.

If you want a 3D Pokemon game, Colosseum and XD are the way to go, though they aren't masterpieces either. They have a limited selection of Pokemon you can catch in the story.

Stadium was all about the minigames and battling with friends, at least for me. Colliseum and XD were rpgs like the main series but without wild pokemon and a some other things. All great games though.
