Before I start, our cartridge was clean (no hacks or anything). We played on one of those badass clear purple gameboy colours.

When we went to check on Starmie (aka MEW), against all fucking belief, the game said "MEW is glowing!".
Of course, it never actually gave us a Mew, but what the actual fuck was that? I've googled, googled some more, and even asked /v/ + /vp/ a couple times, and nobody seems to know or remember this secret. Most of you even said I was bullshitting.
