I think the best part was that it was found completely by accident. Somebody from /v/ was messing with the notepad that spawns random items, and it happened to give him a tentaquil. Using google to find out what the fuck it was brought him here. We still have no idea WHY it's in there, but it is.

It was just that the spots for shading from Gen 1, when transferred to Gen 2's color palette, were green instead of a darker skin color.

So it's more like the sun was casting a green shadow than him being sick.

Here's the thing, though. All those memes are actually well known. Outside of /vp/, you'd be hard-pushed to find somebody who even knows tentaquil exists. Compared to all the other memes in the game, it just seems a bit out-of-place.

Actually, only the PC version has user generated content, and even that you have to download first.

Apparently this is in the other two versions as well. It's as user generated as any other item in the base game, which is 0.

You have about as much of a case as a deviantard trying to sue somebody for using their sonic recolor. The original image was supposedly a pokemon, so the only people who might have some sort of a case is Gamefreak, and to be honest, I doubt they even care.

The only bad thing is that you can't ride on it. (And apparently it's "weight" is the same as a "feather") and that "blood" isn't an object you can spawn.

Good thing you can customize items and stuff though. I made it so I can ride on it.
