I would like to see what the majority of /vp/ agrees with on a survey about Pokemon.

how is gen 4 the worst generation of pokemon so far? HG/SS were incredible, and while DPP aren't great, they aren't even the worst games.

HG/SS isn't really Gen 4. When people ask what generation are worse, you count the new games of that generation, not the remakes.

And while Pt is pretty good, D/P is fucking awful. Not to mention how the Gen 4 pokémon are very bland and mostly forgetable. And don't get me started on the shitty evos of older pokemon..

Not saying my taste is better than anyone's, but if at least one category had to favor Gen 2, I think this had to be it. G/S/C had a wonderful soundtrack. I'm pretty surprised it's last.

I can see why people think Gen V had the best story, but I honestly think it was a very silly attempt to make pokemon more story-driven. Most of it revolved around Team Plasma, and they're fucking retarded. I preffered how you played through the previous generation's story lines, even though they were almost void of them.

It's the best story for at least two reasons:
1) It is really the only game that attempted a story at all beyond "hurr, catch 'em all and become the champ"
2) N.
