>>11866539Because some of us think that the designs/inspirations are interesting, neat, cute, funny, etc. It really isn't that hard to grasp that people have different viewpoints and I have to say that a lot of the reasons people tend to come up with for their dislike of certain gens often come off as shallow, misinformed, or unfathomed. That's not to say that some people don't have ones that aren't like that, but it's just a lot of what I see thrown around.
Also, many of the people who might hold those particular opinions may feel a sort of nostalgic attraction toward their first Generations and feel that nothing that comes afterwards could compare. And regardless of whether or not those people are in the majority, does not make their opinion "more correct"
Anyway, sorry for the long rant. Just voicing my views on this matter.
