>>11873906>i literally just proved bulbapedia is more accurate, in-depth, and easier to navigate than serebii>hurr durr serebii has better information because i said soSerebii has better information about breaking news as it's happening, which I already acknowledged. I'm not saying Serebii is a shitty site that no one should ever visit under any circumstances, or that Bulbapedia is the best fansite ever and is free from error. I'm saying, if I want to know what happened on Smash or what was revealed in Coro Coro, I go to Serebii. If I want to know what level Growlithe learns Flamethrower in Crystal, or what the exact mechanics of Counter are in Red, or the rosters of every trainer on Route 119 in Emerald, I go to Bulbapedia. Serebii doesn't have that information (well it does have Growlithe's Gen II learnset, but it's not as easily accessible as "type in Growlithe, click on learnset in the ToC, click on Gen II, done").
>>11874295I don't want to start an argument, but you're either blatantly lying about "scanning for info and passing up miles of trivia" or you're just literally retarded; every page is divided into sections with a clickable ToC at the top, and most of the hard facts you'd be looking for are separated from the headcanon-y sections so you shouldn't be reading those anyway. See the first half of the post, if I'm looking for Growlithe's Gen II learnset I can just edit the URL for Growlithe (don't even need the broken search), click twice and I'm there.
