2000's really only good for nostalgia, some decent fight sequences between the legendary birds and Lugia's song. Other than that it's a turd that shoots itself in the face in the opening minute (way to lay out your movie's dilemma and solution to the dilemma with some shitty cryptic prophecy there), the villain, aside from having a pretty cool fortress, is just a limp wristed, unintimidating pussy, the whole "chosen one" bullshit is overdone in movies and had no place here (it would have been SO MUCH BETTER if the prophecy just said "ur all gonna fucken die" and Ash was like "fuck you prophecy im defying you", man), they kept emphasising how Ash had to use THE POWER OF ONE to save the day when he had help every single step of the way.... just fuck that movie man. Fuck it.

A couple years ago I would have included the first/fourth as well, but they've kind of lost their flavor to me.

The movies are not really good overall, none should be rated higher than low tier. They always use the same patterns in these movies, maybe they should make something that's really memorable, something at the same level of movies like The Lion King.

Anyone ever notice in the gen 4 movies (giratina to arceus) the legendaries are being a dick to dialga? I had it in my head that all he wanted to do was get a drink of water, but they kept interrupting him and demanding a battle.

I found it pretty hilarious that it continues up to the Arceus movie.
