>>11883677I always get called a Hoennbabby every time I mention that it was my favorite generation. I felt like although it did nothing spectacularly, it did everything well enough that it was incredibly balanced in the single-player. The semi-social aspects like record mixing and secret bases and connectivity between the e-Reader and Gamecube were awesome and it disappoints me that there hasn't been anything comparable since.
Of course, I enjoyed every generation. Less so 4 and 5, but that's because I completely burned out and gave up after 600 hours in Gen 3 and 374/386 in my national dex across four games when my DS and all my games got stolen. It wasn't the game's fault I was bitter.
