I think it is people samefagging their own crappy setups then reposting them in screencap threads to try and "become famous". /vp/ moves pretty slow, so it is really fucking obvious when there's suddenly twenty reaction images all spaced about two minutes apart to the same post in a thread where at most three people were going back and forth prior.
