TOTT: I play OU the most, but I've gotten a bit sick of the current state of the metagame (weather everywhere) so I mostly just mess around and have fun with gimmicky Pokemon. I also do UU and RU with more competitive teams. I do Ubers every once and a while and I just had my first NU match yesterday.

You know how foul play does damage based on your physical attack?
well wouldn't it be a good idea to run 0 attack IVs on every special attacker, to lower the damage from it?

It can work very well. Coil gives him the defense he needs to make use of Rest, as well as 100% accuracy Gunk Shots, you're near immune to status having both Rest, and Shed Skin, and with a little bit of luck you can often times get instant wake up Rests.

Last slot can be Aqua Tail to hit things like Bastiodon, Probopass, and Regirock which would otherwise be hard to get around, or Sucker Punch to one hit kill Pokemon that would otherwise stop your sweep.

Just be sure you pay attention if you ever edit your team later on, and swap out a special attacker for a physical one. The IVs don't reset when you change Pokemon.

Don't use it. If you want to use something from Slowpoke's family, use Slowbro or Slowking (Slowking sucks, but Slowpoke sucks EVEN MORE).

Abra is killed by every single one of my pokémon, including scarf mienfoo.
Misdreavus: "I can probably 2HKO it with flare blitz from larvesta, but recoil might build up... Nah, just gonna weaken it with Staryu and chinchou."

Murkrow: "Just kill it with chinchou, or finish it with mixkrow..."

Depends on what use. Bulky water-type, sweeper, spinner, support...

I'd say the best bulky is Chinchou. Resists a lot of common types, walls every electric- and water-type, walls murkrow, the biggest threat in LC, and walls mag, which is nice.

Staryu is the fastest spinner, has decent bulk and a good SpA.

Clamperl/Omanyte are the choices when you want to shell smash. Although I prefer the latter, they are both good: Clamperl has raw power, hitting 68SpA after a Shell Smash boost (imagine the equivalent of Kyogre's SpA after a shell smash to level 5), though Omanyte is still really powerful, can afford Eviolite/LO and has earth power to take care of chinchou/

To add on this, if you're interested in physical water-types, your best bet is Tirtouga. Splash Plate + Aqua Tail allows you to OHKO mienfoo after a shell smash, while eviolite + solid rock is really cool to take resisted hits, setup a Shell Smash and waterfall everything. Shellder is cool too, decimating everything after a shell smash with icicle spear and ice shard is cool too, even if no STAB.

Do you really want fourth gen LC, when every battle was decided between "did your scarf gastly speed tie with mine" or "FOCUS SASH ERRYTHING"? Eviolite makes the game more balanced, but there's still offense. And it finally gives me a reason to use knock off, too.

Murkrow and Mienfoo are frail. Really. Even with eviolite, they have paper-thin defenses. You think they are bulky because foo hax extreme recovery between regenerator u-turn, fake out and drain punch, while krow has prankster roost. Missy doesn't have recovery, and scraggy needs to setup.

Eviolite is one of THE best items: most pokémon are frail due to the lack of defensive threats and low defenses and HP stats at level 5, while they have high-powered attacks (blizzard, hi jump kick, brave bird...). It's really useful to have a cosmic power boost right when you get in the battle. Also, specs and band aren't useful at all due to the low stats in LC, meaning Life Orb gives you the same boosts on average without the lock in a move. Scarf is still a very good option, though.

Using Flame Orb+Trick is a pretty bad idea unless you're a fire type, or a Lopunny. You're going to get yourself into situations where you have to burn yourself, or are screwing yourself over tricking when you have no reason to, and should be doing something else instead.

Using it alongside Will-O-Wisp is just stupid. You don't need two moves to do that.

Replace Trick with Shadow Ball, and your item to Leftovers; or replace Substitute with Shadow Ball, and change your item to Choice specs although at that point you might as well use Chandelure instead.

Yeah, your team is insanely weak to Ghost. Replace one of your Ghost-weak Pokemon with something to resist it. Or at least use Sucker Punch on Bisharp to beat things like Mismagius and Scarf Chandelure.
